MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a Big O Management Trainee to support store operations and learn management skills at the Sedalia location. You will work with store managers to control costs, train staff, and maintain profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain the state appropriate Motor Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead team meetings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all aspects of store operations including sales, office, and shop management.
• Staff the store with adequate personnel, implementing training programs, and executing company programs and procedures.
• Set goals and strategies to achieve budgeted sales, gross profit, expense control, and payroll objectives.
• Promote sales through explaining the benefits of services and products to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections and prioritize needed products and services with customers.
• Shadow the Store Manager to develop skills with hiring and evaluation processes.
• Guide staff in resolving customer concerns.
• Conduct weekly store meetings to review safety, policies, and product changes.
• Review and analyze profit and loss statements and payroll projections.
• Ensure opening/closing of location and manage cash handling and deposits.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete monthly physical inventory.
• Complete required reports and support merchandising, advertising, and promotions.
• Maintain store appearance to Big O Tires standards and train new employees.
