Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company seeks an Assistant Store Manager to supervise operations and drive customer satisfaction at our Big O Tires location. You will manage daily store functions, promote services, and mentor staff to meet sales and service goals.

Qualified candidates will have retail or automotive experience, strong communication, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Availability for varying shifts and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• State license for Motor Vehicle Inspection within 1 year of hire.
• Experience in retail or automotive sales or service.
• Ability to learn concepts and use technical materials.
• Proficient in basic math and office productivity tools.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations and customer service to deliver positive experiences.
• Open and close the location reliably based on hours.
• Handle store operations including sales, shop management and office work.
• Explain benefits to promote products and services to customers.
• Review and ensure accuracy of work orders and vehicle maintenance instructions.
• Train staff and enforce company programs and procedures.
• Assist in achieving budgeted sales, profit, and payroll objectives.
• Monitor inventory and assist with replenishment and cycle counts.
• Prepare reports and communicate with management in a timely manner.
• Participate in weekly store meetings to review safety and policy updates.
