Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Store MIT to complete leadership development and prepare for promotion to Retail Store Management. You will gain hands‑on experience in customer service, operations, and team development under the Store Manager's guidance.

Expect a structured program over 8–12 weeks with potential advancement based on performance. This role emphasizes leadership, operations know‑how, and excellent customer experiences across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Flexible, full‑time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Exceptional communication in English and Spanish.
• Automotive retail experience or experience analyzing company financials (P&L) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive leadership development and live the pledge.
• Maintain clear communication with employees and customers to drive store execution.
• Learn to manage and analyze monthly P&L statements to optimize profitability.
• Support store operations, ensure policy compliance, and uphold training processes.
• Mentor and train employees to develop a strong team.
• Oversee customer service activities and resolve concerns proactively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Complete management skills training and learn core store operations.
