Job summary

Lidl US in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team of 15–60 associates and drive store performance while delivering the Lidl customer experience.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage daily operations including cash handling and inventory, and ensure a safe, productive work environment in line with company policies.

This role requires hands-on leadership, a track record of meeting targets, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years of management experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 3–5 years of management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Willingness to perform physical store tasks daily (stocking, cleaning, ringing).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage store performance and the well-being of the team (15–60 employees).
• Provide outstanding customer service and serve as main customer contact.
• Monitor and drive KPI performance and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff.
• Lead cash handling, working stock, cleaning, and other essential store tasks.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment per policies.
