Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to prepare future Store Managers. Trainees will learn to lead both front-end and pharmacy operations under the Store Manager, with rotations and hands-on supervision.

The program includes classroom learning, online training, and on-the-job development, with opportunities to gain pharmacy technician registration as required by state law and pursue PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent retail management experience would be considered

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store.
• Shadows Store Manager, gains experience supervising the store, including opening/closing and shift delegation.
• Supports Store Manager in leading store operations and learning journey across departments.
• Supports customer experience by engaging customers, resolving complaints, and coaching staff.
• Learns and implements SOPs across front-end and pharmacy and gains knowledge of store systems.
