Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to lead full-store operations across front-end and pharmacy. You will shadow the Store Manager, complete rigorous certifications, and participate in rotations to prepare for Store Manager duties.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training with development conversations to ensure readiness for permanent assignment, including adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations under Store Manager across front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager to supervise opening/closing and staffing.
• Develop customer experience and resolve complaints.
• Oversee store assets and loss prevention.
• Analyze sales and inventory to improve performance.
• Participate in rotations and complete required certifications for Store Manager.
