Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a candidate for an accelerated Store Manager development program. You will learn store operations for both front-end and pharmacy and complete rotations and certifications to qualify for a Store Manager role.

Under the Store Manager's guidance, you will shadow, assist, and participate in classroom and on-the-job training, building skills in operations, customer experience, inventory, and performance management to drive store results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Walgreens store front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager and support in leading store during learning journey.
• Learn and implement compliance SOPs across front-end and pharmacy.
• Monitor customer service trends and coach team members to improve service metrics.
• Analyze inventory trends and ensure proper receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and returns.
