Job summary

Walgreens is seeking candidates for a Store Manager development track. The role involves learning operations for both front-end and pharmacy, shadowing the Store Manager, and completing accelerated certifications required for Store Manager readiness.

You will engage in classroom, online, and on-the-job training, with rotations to other area stores and continuous coaching from district leadership. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store.
• Shadow Store Manager in leading the store and completing the accelerated development track.
• Support Store Manager in learning SOPs, compliance, and performance management across the store and pharmacy.
