Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to prepare individuals for Store Manager roles in a Walgreens store. Trainees will learn front-end and pharmacy operations under the Store Manager’s guidance and complete an accelerated development track within the prescribed learning plan.

Participants attend classroom, online, and on-the-job training, complete rotations across area stores, and follow development plans to reach readiness for permanent assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Store Manager, oversees the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store.
• Shadows Store Manager, gains experience, and demonstrates proficiency supervising the store and team members.
• Lears to analyze financial & performance data for the store and pharmacy to improve results.
