Cumberland Farms in Wallingford, CT is seeking a dynamic Managers In Training to prepare for Store Manager responsibilities. You will learn day-to-day operations, guest service excellence, staffing, scheduling, and coaching teammates to deliver a great guest experience.

This full-time role offers hands-on training with a Training Manager, rotating shifts, and growth opportunities across 1500+ sites nationwide; strong leadership, teamwork, and a passion for retail are a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping product levels full.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Keep the store clean and well-maintained, including coffee station, food service area, and restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
