Cumberland Farms is seeking a high-energy Manager In Training to join our Stratford, CT team. You will support the Store Manager in building and guiding a strong store team, ensuring top-notch guest service and smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in training weeks with Managers, then rotate shifts to apply leadership skills, learn our processes, and develop into a bench leadership role across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High energy, retail leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Minimum 1 year in retail or food experience.
• Preferred: 1 year in retail/guest service or restaurant leadership.
• ServSafe/Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and maintain exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with training, scheduling, and coaching of the team.
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in applicable locations.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside, including coffee and food service areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and support the Store Manager in food-service operations.
