O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Manager in Training to support the store manager in sales, appearance, and overall operations. The role focuses on hands-on training for eventual management positions at this location or future stores.

Bilingual candidates encouraged; the program includes certification tracks, leadership development, and opportunities to lead scheduling, staffing, and KPI reviews while advancing through O’Reilly's management training curriculum.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience.
• Completed O’Reilly management training program.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail store operations with the manager.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, evaluating, promoting, and disciplining team members.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Handle scheduling, payroll, and electronic timekeeping.
• Manage delivery fleet maintenance and keep the store neat and organized.
• Review KPI dashboards and monthly P&L with the store manager.
