Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You will work alongside the Store Leader to train, coach, and develop team members while delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales goals.

You will oversee merchandising, promotions, cash handling, and loyalty programs, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. Prior supervisory experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.

Qualifications

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Demonstrated strength maintaining high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting our loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and ensuring products are in stock.
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with vehicle liability insurance during employment.
• Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.
