Job summary

ALDI is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead store teams while driving daily operations, merchandising, customer service and standards adherence. Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district manager support as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel decisions including advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Interacts effectively with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and business partners.
