Job summary

Ace Retail Group seeks a General Manager in Training (GMIT) to develop in all store operations and prepare for promotion to General Manager within an assigned Ace location. You will lead by example, train associates, and drive customer service, inventory management, and daily store performance.

This role emphasizes leadership, adherence to core values, payroll and budget awareness, and hands-on supervision of store activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of retail management experience, hardware experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk, and travel.
• Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop store operations to prepare for GM role.
• Oversee store operations, inventory, pricing, and shrink control.
• Support HR tasks: hiring and training associates.
• Collaborate with district and general managers; lead store team.
