Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a General Manager in Training (GMIT) to develop skills across all store operations and prepare for promotion to General Manager within the assigned store. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, inventory management, and people leadership.

You will work under district leadership to learn P&L responsibilities, staffing, and program implementation while embodying Ace’s core values and driving store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous retail management experience, hardware experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to relocate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
• Assist and help supervise store operations, including inventory and pricing tasks.
• Support store budgeting, payroll, and loss prevention programs.
• Lead weekly management meetings and assist in hiring, scheduling, and coaching associates.
• Foster a positive work environment and lead by example to drive sales and efficiency.
