Job summary

Ace Retail Group in Michigan is seeking a motivated General Manager in Training to develop expertise in all store operations and help prepare for a General Manager position. You will focus on customer service excellence, inventory control, and leadership development for store teams.

Responsibilities include training on P&L, budgeting, staffing, and implementing our core values across daily operations while building community relationships in the local Ace stores.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, hardware experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, represent the Ace brand positively in-store.
• Assist and supervise general store operations, maintain inventory and pricing accuracy.
• Support payroll, budgets, and loss prevention initiatives with district leadership.
• Participate in hiring, training, and development of associates and potential future managers.
• Lead store teams in absence of the General Manager and promote a safe, productive work environment.
