Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to develop in-store operations and prepare for promotion within an assigned store. You will focus on customer service, salesfloor execution, and daily leadership responsibilities under the guidance of the General Manager.

The role emphasizes training, supervision of cash handling, loss prevention, and daily maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manufacture assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs) regularly, and lifting (up to 100lbs) occasionally with assistance, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Thank customers when they are leaving the store.
• Provide a friendly, outgoing demeanor; collaborate well with customers as well as associates.
• Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively.
• Manage customer complaints.
