Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to develop in-store operations and prepare for promotion to an Assistant Manager role. You will focus on customer service excellence, training associates, and ensuring store standards.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, implementing programs, and collaborating with the General Manager on key initiatives while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group and greet customers.
• Oversee store operations, open/close procedures, and implement programs.
• Supervise inventory, receiving, stocking, and merchandising tasks.
• Assist in training and hiring of associates with GM oversight.
• Lead by example, participate in meetings, and support senior management.
