Job summary

The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma (degree preferred), and 1–3 years of retail leadership experience with P&L accountability. Strong communication and HR software proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1-3 years retail experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading both perishable and non-perishable departments with P&L, safety, staffing and performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented and decisive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software; able to use time and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Shaped store culture and led the leadership team to deliver a superior customer experience.
• Motivated and developed managers; ensured training and performance appraisals.
• Oversee approximately ten department managers and receivers; manage inventory and loss prevention.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health and sanitation standards; drive sales and store performance.
• Address emergencies and operational issues with urgency; manage budgeted labor and expenses.
