Job summary

Trulieve is seeking an Assistant General Manager in a retail setting to support the General Manager with leadership, inventory control, and daily operations. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and brand standards.

The position requires managing a team of 40+ employees, coaching staff, and ensuring service excellence across shifts. It includes opportunities for monthly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to communicate in conversational English with customers and team members and operate electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and sales results.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations.
• Review and communicate company SOPs and inform staff of changes.
• Coach, train, and develop the team to meet service standards and objectives.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory.
• Resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty.
• Manage labor budget in collaboration with the General Manager.
