Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating daily store operations.
• Ensure all departments operate efficiently and achieve company performance standards.
• Monitor store conditions, merchandising, inventory levels, and customer service execution.
• Support implementation of company initiatives, promotional programs, and operational objectives.
• Assist in maintaining facility standards, cleanliness, and operational excellence throughout the store.
• Lead, coach, and develop department managers, supervisors, and associates.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training associates.
• Conduct performance coaching and support corrective action processes when necessary.
• Promote succession planning and associate development opportunities.
• Champion a customer-first culture throughout the store.
• Resolve customer concerns and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all associates consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
• Monitor customer satisfaction trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in achieving store sales, gross profit, labor, and shrink goals.
• Review key performance indicators and operational reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support budget management and expense control initiatives.
• Drive execution of action plans to improve financial and operational performance.
• Ensure effective execution of merchandising programs and seasonal promotions.
• Monitor inventory levels and support efficient replenishment processes.
• Reduce shrink through proper inventory controls and operational execution.
• Verify accuracy of pricing, promotions, and product presentation standards.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and government requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment for associates and customers.
• Conduct store safety inspections and address identified concerns.
• Ensure completion of required compliance training and operational audits.
• Assist with workforce planning and scheduling activities.
• Monitor labor utilization and productivity goals.
• Balance operational needs while maintaining labor budget expectations.
• Support attendance management and staffing initiatives.
• Represent the store within the local community as needed.
• Support community engagement and customer outreach initiatives.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and business partners.
