Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices including legal compliance and internal processes.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and store security practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps.
• Recommend pay rate adjustments and career advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; lead meetings and reinforce policies.
• Open and close the store as required; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Analyze sales, profitability and inventory trends; manage expenses and shrink.
• Oversee stock replenishment, ordering plans, and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage compliance.
