Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish may be preferred at some store locations.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff the store.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations and counseling.
• Manage payroll-related decisions and advancement recommendations.
• Communicate performance expectations and coordinate safety policies.
• Open and close the store and ensure proper staffing each day.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Order and manage inventory to meet in-stock targets.
• Ensure merchandise is presented with proper pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cashier accountability.
• Lead customer service initiatives and maintain a safe store environment.
