Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices including legal compliance.
• Compliance with store security procedures and cash controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store staff; ensure proper staffing and scheduling.
• Train employees, conduct performance reviews, and address gaps.
• Oversee cash handling and deposit procedures; maintain cashier accountability.
• Monitor sales, turns, expenses; manage inventory and stock levels.
• Ensure presentation, pricing and signage adheres to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures; complete all required paperwork.
