Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees per laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; address gaps and counseling as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events for safety.
• Ensure store opens and closes as required; maintain staffing levels.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends, profitability, and turn; manage expenses and shrink.
• Review ordering plans to meet in-stock targets; manage BSR/cycle counts weekly.
• Facilitate staging, stocking and storage of merchandise per Company processes.
• Ensure merchandise is presented according to practices with pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and security controls for cash and assets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe store.
