Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Washington state is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and mentor a team of about ten staff across departments. You will ensure compliance with safety, labeling, and quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include leading the leadership team, managing inventory and labor, and executing company programs to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with integrity, including profit and loss, safety, staffing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (Department Managers and Receivers).
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, stocking, and price accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Drive sales growth and store experience with consistent top item knowledge and department schematics.
