Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance and customer service excellence. The Manager in Training (MIT) role prepares you for promotion into Retail Store Management within 8–12 weeks, with hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities.

You'll focus on leadership, customer service, and operational expertise, gaining exposure to P&L analysis, staffing, and training processes as you advance through the program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Full-time flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Bilingual: strong Spanish and English communication.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team and deliver WOW! customer service.
• Maintain clear communication with employees and customers.
• Learn to analyze monthly P&L statements to optimize profitability.
• Support store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Mentor and train employees to build a strong team.
• Take charge of customer service activities and resolve issues.
