MITs progress within 8-12 weeks based on performance and experience. The program emphasizes leadership, communication, inventory oversight, and customer experience, with opportunities for career growth across AutoZone stores in the Americas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year: 1-2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Flexible Schedule: Full-time availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.
• Automotive retail: experience or familiarity with financials (P&L) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and mentor team through MIT program.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, store merchandising, and sales strategies to maximize success.
• Deliver WOW customer service and resolve concerns proactively.
• Assist with staffing, training, and development of a high-performing team.
• Complete management skills training and learn core store operations.
