Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance and delivers WOW! Customer Service. The Manager in Training (MIT) role is a transitional program, with hands-on assignments and learning opportunities.

Within 8–12 weeks you could move into management, depending on experience and performance. MITs will gain leadership skills, help with staffing, and contribute to inventory, merchandising, and sales strategies while upholding AutoZone culture and policies.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience with automotive retail or financial basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in leadership development and training.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training of employees.
• Support store operations, customer service, and sales strategies to drive performance.
