Job summary

Urban Outfitters in Nashville seeks an Assistant Manager to lead service, visuals, and store operations to create an engaging shopping environment. You’ll act like an owner, partner with teams, and drive growth while delivering a quality customer experience.

You’ll supervise daily operations, support onboarding, and help recruit and retain a diverse, high performing team, ensuring omni-channel excellence and brand standards across the store.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store leadership experience
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results
• Proven record of developing great talent
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization

Responsibilities

• Drives a service culture through engaging, efficient and personalized experiences; interprets feedback to improve interactions
• Acts as a brand representative reflecting URBN values and partners with Visual Merchandising on engaging visuals
• Delivers a seamless omni-channel shopping experience using MPOS, POS, and in-store & curbside pick up
• Leads floor service as the service leader, guiding the team to prioritize customer experience and store objectives
• Provides onboarding and ongoing development feedback to create a culture of action and accountability
• Supports Store Manager in recruiting and retaining a diverse and engaged team
• Participates in opening/closing procedures and other operational tasks
• Coordinates shipment processing, restocking, and product placement while maintaining visual standards
• Upholds safety, inventory accuracy, and company policies to support store profitability
