Carter’s Retail Inc. is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in New York. You will be the frontline leader on the sales floor, guiding a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results.

You’ll coach staff, manage schedules, and support store operations while representing our brands with warmth and inclusivity. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a hands-on approach to growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard computer software (Outlook, Excel, POS systems).

Responsabilités

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to maintain high service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze business performance and drive KPIs with the team.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store staff.
• Plan and report on tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Support merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Help reduce loss through customer service and operational controls.
