Job summary

Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, guide them through our product styles and benefits, and support store operations with a focus on exceptional service.

You will coach a team, assist in recruiting and training, analyze sales performance, and help execute merchandising and promotions. Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED. Optional formal training is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features and benefits.
• Coach employees to meet service standards and KPIs; drive omnichannel experiences.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report tasks and financial results using company tools.
