Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Store Assistant Manager for the Rancho Cucamonga location. This full-time, on-site role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, drives sales, manages staff, and ensures excellent customer and donor service at a thrift store supporting ARC programs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of supervisory retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years previous Retail Management/Supervisory experience (thrift preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Must hold a valid Driver's license, able to pass MVR and have access to a motor vehicle.
• Basic understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Take active role with Store Manager in day-to-day store operation.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive store sales and profitability.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll records.
• Ensure high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction through excellent service.
