Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Florida LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in our Jacksonville location. You'll assist with daily store activities, help supervise associates, ensure clean and well-stocked floors, and adhere to company policies while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays to ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise and develop store associates and ensure a positive work environment.
