James Avery Artisan Jewelry is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at the Shops at Dove Creek in San Antonio, TX. This full-time hourly management role supports the Store Manager to nurture a customer- and product-focused sales culture, build brand visibility, and drive profitability.

You will lead a team, recruit and train staff, manage inventory and payroll, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience while upholding our values and standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus two years retail experience or equivalent.
• Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships.
• Strong delegation skills with constructive feedback and guidance.
• Ability to execute with consistency in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a positive uplifting work environment alongside the Store Manager.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of associates.
• Act as a brand ambassador to drive awareness and traffic in-store.
• Assist with inventory, scheduling, payroll, BOPIS, Ship by Store, and budgets.
• Lead by example, follow policies and seek efficiency improvements.
• Be the on-floor sales leader, develop the team, and increase revenue.
• Encourage knowledge-sharing and in-store training as needed.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to guide store strategies.
• Support events and promotions and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build trust and partnerships.
