Job summary

James Avery is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Northwest Marketplace location in Houston, TX. This on-site, full-time hourly management role supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving brand awareness, and maximizing store profitability.

You will assist with recruiting, training, inventory control, scheduling, and day-to-day operations while maintaining James Avery standards and guest-focused service.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and retail experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate and provide feedback effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in building James Avery culture and brand awareness.
• Lead by example on the sales floor to drive customer engagement and revenue.

• Manage inventory, scheduling, payroll, and in-store operations.
• Ensure a clean, organized store and excellent customer experience.
