Job summary

Walmart in West Memphis, AR is seeking a store leader to guide and develop teams, teach training, listen to associates, and drive store operations and change initiatives. You will communicate objectives, set clear expectations, and model exceptional customer service through the One Best Way service model.

You will manage budgets, merchandising, inventory flow and associate development while promoting belonging and inclusion. Minimum qualifications and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete trainings (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store teams through teaching, training and feedback to associates.
• Model and promote exceptional customer service using the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
• Drive store financial performance by budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory flow, and store operations to achieve sales and shrink targets.
