Job summary

Walmart in Horn Lake, MS is seeking a Store Leader to drive team performance and customer service excellence. You will mentor hourly associates, hire and train staff, and implement company initiatives to improve operations and profitability.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, merchandise presentation, and shrink control while maintaining the Open Door Policy and a culture of belonging. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to integrity and community

Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor’s or higher degree not required but preferred for leadership track.

Responsibilities

Leads and develops teams by teaching training, providing feedback, and supporting store operations.
Drives store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
Oversees customer service initiatives and ensures a high-quality customer experience.
Manages staffing, onboarding, and development of hourly associates, fostering a culture of belonging.
