Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store teams, drive sales, and uphold brand standards in a dynamic retail environment.

You will support the Store Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, and running daily operations, while focusing on customer experience, loss prevention, and achieving KPIs.

The role requires strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives.
• Effective communication with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Provides supervision and supports the direction & planning of associates’ daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience which maximizes sales/KPIs and drives customer loyalty in assigned stores.
• 30% People: Trains and develops teams to achieve positive results; recruits to build a strong candidate network; coaches and counsels as needed; maintains associate relations.
• 30% Operations: Ensures execution of company processes through training, management, analysis and continuous improvement; supports Omni-channel fulfillment.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintains safe store environment and protects company assets through inventory and cash control procedures.
