You will lead merchandising efforts, manage budgets, labor, and safety, while promoting Kroger’s core values and customer-first approach. With a focus on developing associates, you will ensure a high-quality shopping experience, optimize store performance, and collaborate across departments to meet growth and service goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Experience coaching and developing associates.
• Experience using KPIs and data insights to drive decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations in the store manager's absence.
• Lead merchandising and operating initiatives to meet targets.
• Monitor budgets, sales, shrink, and labor costs.
• Develop action plans and communicate results to teams.
• Coach and develop department leaders to build talent for the future.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and safety standards.
