The role requires competence across perishable and non-perishable departments to ensure programs drive sales and efficiency while upholding safety, labeling, health, and weights and measures standards. Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Leading non-perishable and perishable operations with integrity, including P&L, safety, staffing, and inventory.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape store culture through leadership aligned to Sprouts values.
• Develop store leadership to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of about ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Motivate and develop management while modeling Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Drive sales growth and store experience with Educate and Enrich standards.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stocking with strong code-date focus.
• Manage invoicing from distribution centers and vendors; report discrepancies.
• Address emergencies and issues with urgency; ensure safety/compliance.
• P&L ownership: manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
