Total Wine & More is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment. This role emphasizes driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong store operations.

You will report to the Store Manager and play a key role in building a knowledgeable, service-oriented culture. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in a supervisory retail role, and solid experience with POS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team and ongoing development.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sale and maintain a safe store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
