Job summary

Boot Barn in Burlington, North Carolina seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and upholding merchandising standards across the store. You will partner with leadership to manage staff, scheduling, training, and daily operations while fostering a welcoming, community-focused environment.

You will coach and develop team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and driving continued store improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2–4 years of retail store management experience.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence; lead on sales floor during peak hours.
• Implement and maintain continuous learning, assist with partner training plans to improve store performance.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to plan/execute volume-driving events and local community outreach.
• Lead and coach associates in customer engagement through loyalty programs and achieve team goals.
