Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is hiring an Assistant Manager to blend sales leadership with daily store operations and people development.

You will supervise the sales floor, manage staffing and payroll, and coach associates to deliver superior customer service and brand experiences. You will leverage product knowledge, fashion awareness, and creative styling to boost sales while maintaining compelling visual displays and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close routines for daily operations and cash handling.
• Supervise salesfloor and stockroom while ensuring excellent service and seamless operations.
• Staffing, scheduling, and payroll management.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness to drive sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays and merchandising standards.
• Analyze reports to inform decision making and optimize store performance.
• Protect store assets and perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems and fulfill Omni Channel orders.
