Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations of a Walgreens store and pharmacy in Kentucky. You will manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and financial performance to drive sales and protect assets.

You will develop team capabilities, uphold exceptional customer and patient experiences, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies. This role emphasizes leadership, service excellence, and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of retail management experience, or a high school diploma with 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant or RPh as applicable by state law.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store and pharmacy operations, scheduling and task delegation.
• Monitors customer service and trains team to deliver a superior customer and patient experience.
• Analyzes inventory, merchandising and pricing to optimize sales and profitability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years retail management

HS Diploma/GED + 5 years retail management
