Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead operations at a Goodyear location. You will manage payroll and expenses, drive donations, and coach a team to deliver excellent customer service to donors and shoppers.

You will oversee production, inventory, and training, ensuring store standards align with company goals and the Goodwill mission. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies a starting annual pay of $70,000 with performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Two years' work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
• One-year customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid drivers' license and clean MVR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to help drive donations.
• Monitors product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
• Ensures payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
• Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
• Builds a high-performing team.
• Responsible for performance management, staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
• Ensures that Team Members are operating per company standards and procedures.
