Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Store Manager in Rhode Island to provide leadership for the whole store team. You will drive customer experience, merchandising excellence and operational execution, teaching and coaching associates to deliver results.

As the primary leader, you will manage staffing, payroll planning, hiring decisions, training, inventory control, and adherence to policies. You will shape the store's performance and profitability while maintaining Kohl’s standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience supervising 20+ associates and making employment decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong people management and talent development skills.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Plan payroll and labor costs based on traffic and weekly sales.
• Recruit, hire and manage performance for store personnel.
• Oversee training on Kohl's culture, product knowledge, and selling.
• Maintain accurate inventory, pricing and merchandising standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and store experience.
