Job summary

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico (GINM) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a fast-paced retail team and support the store's successful operations.

You will oversee customer service, staff training, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention while ensuring HIPAA compliance and CARF standards where applicable. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of progressive retail experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to attendance and punctuality policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Lead store staff, oversee training and scheduling.
• Assist in cash handling and record keeping as directed.
• Ensure store safety, loss prevention, and CARF/HIPAA compliance.
• Supervise cashier functions and donation center operations.
• Assist Store Manager with performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
