Job summary

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, maintain customer service excellence, oversee inventory, and uphold loss prevention policies and cash controls. You will mentor staff and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Five years supervisory experience in a retail setting.
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license and insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit excellent customer service and oversee store operations.
• Meet sales goals and control expenses per store budget.
• Appraise and price inventory to maximize value.
• Maintain a clean, attractive store environment and supervise staff appearance.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate marketing and promotions with the marketing department.
• Ensure proper opening/closing procedures and store security.
• Supervise schedules, train staff, and monitor performance.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CARF, and organizational policies.
